COUNTER STAFF: Russ & Daughters, the world famous appetizing food landmark, has two positions open in our shop: one on our smoked fish counter and the other in the coffee/sweets/cheese section. If you love working with food, talking about food, while also interacting with people, this is the place.

For both positions, we are looking for great people who:
- Have a background in gourmet food, ideally on the retail side of the food industry
- Enjoy sharing food knowledge
- Genuinely like working with the public and serving others
- Are quick learners with a solid work ethic
- Uphold the highest standards of quality, presentation, and service
- Can communicate with an upscale clientele in a lively and personal manner

Candidates for the Smoked Fish Counter should also possess excellent knife skills, and preferably, previous experience working with high end food items such as smoked salmon and caviar. This is a full time position.

Candidates interested in the Coffee/Sweets/Cheeses Counter must have barista knowledge and training. This is a part-time position with the opportunity for long-term hire.
